Default 77 Radio

I am getting my 77 ready to sell and have all of the original parts back on it. the problem came when I was putting the original 8 track radio back in. I have lost the clip that plugs into the back of the sterio. When I ordered a new one it doesn't match. I have tried every part source on the internet including e-bay to no avail. I'm thinking that maybe this isn't the original radio.

Can anyone identify this:

I don't recall that either my 71' or 78' radios had the external wires running across the back. This might be an after market unit. Does it have "GM" or "Delco" markings on it anywhere?

It is a delco radio and the front looks like original equipment.

Looks like my 78".

I replaced the dash harness onmy 71' and saved all the connectors. I'll take a look tomorrow and see if it has the radio, but it was just an AM/FM so the connector may be different. Have you tried one of the wiring harness places? Either Letric Limited or M&H. The have the connectors since they make the whole harness.

Take the radio to a local stereo shop and they can order the plugs from Metra. You can try the direct, but they will direct you to a dealer.

http://www.metraonline.com/

Those plugs are available
