Default here's what I do with old parts..made a Clock out of Flexplate...

well, got a little bored the other day and got the crazy idea to make a clock out of my old L48 flywheel..... tore the motor out of a clock around the house...and bought some paint.......just a little idea for some of you guys that get bored sometimes like me!

Hey, if you're that bored I've got the entire rear suspension out of mine. Come help me put it back in. Better yet come hold the wife off when she sees the bill It's hard to keep her convinced that I only spent $500 when everything that goes back in says Van Steel, VB&P, or Muskegon Brakes all over it.

Looks good mate. I've done similar things before with old hubcaps. I was only thinking yesterday that the center cap from a Caprice Classic (the old "jelly mould" shape) would look smart as a clock...

I do have a girlfriend....so take that as you want it for as much free time I have! I actually gave it to my friend who helped me build the motor.....so now it's hanging in his garage....

I have been hanging on to a timing chain cover for several years now with the same intentions. Never have gotten around to it though. Nice work. A little heavy for the wall but, cool nonetheless.
