This has been a long time coming. My C3 has been in the shop for over 6 months.
My deal with the body and paint guy was he could move other work in front of it, in exchange for a decent price on mine if he could work on it as time permitted.
It was a long wait. I've worked on the body off frame for 2 years, now the paint is finally finished, and now the fun part, putting all the new trim pieces on. Should be fun.
Then the new interior, etc. Maybe some day it will actually be done.
I am very pleased with the paint. It's absolutely perfect. One of the best paint jobs I've ever seen. But it was pricey!
Now the fun begins.

Great job
Once again, excellent choice of color! That Velocity Yellow is great. I'm looking for brilliant orange for my son's '76, I'd love to find a velocity orange So far Hugger Orange seems to be the brightest shade of orange we have found.

That's spectacular - Not just the color and quality, but that the alignment and gaps is a million times better than they were when they were brand new.
Anyone that tells you that you could get that done for 4-5K has probably never seen the difference between a 5K job and a 10K job. To say it is night and day would be an understatement.
Don't worry about what you spent. By the looks of the other cars, it doesn't seem cash flow is your biggest concern. How do you like your Ford GT? When I owned my Viper GTS, there were several Viper owners selling in order to score a GT.
