Looks like one from Pennsylvania I looked at for a year in January 2005 at Old Town. I saw the owner last January and he said he had sold it but didn't say to who or how much.
His price in '05 was close to where the bidding was and much below the BIN. If it is the same one, he said it was well-known in NCRS circles.

Neat Car! The price has nothing to do with Barrett Jackson!

I agree with Yellow73sb, it its from ProTeam, I personally would be extremely skeptical.
I have often heard the joke around Corvette circles that ProTeam sells more big blocks than Chevrolet ever built.
Makes you wonder,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

71rdstr,
You would have all the top stuff too if you were "creating" it in your shop. It's like building a giant model car kit: put all the pieces together any way you want to make whatever you want and sell it.
I have been around a long time and remember when Pro Team was Terry Michaelis Corvettes, (he still owns it) and they went bankrupt.
Guess he figured out how to beat the system (or customers) to stay in business.

If you look at the bottom of their ad, there are more ads...and something seems real wierd to me, but then again, I could be wrong, but why would GM make a Corvette with a 3-on-the-tree?

Or did they?

"This was purpose built Corvette that was underrated by G.M. at 430 hp and is well known fact that the true horse power was in excess of 550 hp. looks, runs and drives excellent."
I wish someone would take the motor out and dyno it already, enough of the guessing, jeese not that hard to do, I did it last winter for something to do
