Have you gotten closer to deciding what you like best? I think if you were seriously considering a new color, black would get the best look, and require the most washing. Personally I love washing my cars. It puts me in close touch with them and I love that.

How much difference is there between War Bonnet Yellow and the Metallic Yellow used on the 73's? I'd like to stay with the original color, but I'm taking a lot of heat over it. The color is being refered to as baby diarrhoea by everyone who visits the garage. I tell all my buddies to trust me with the color, but find myself being the butt of their humor!

1st. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!!! I love black Vettes. Especially Groovyjay's. But I will never own a black car again. It looks great on the showroom floor. Looks great right after a waxing. But if your gonna drive it, go YELLOW!
Loud exhaust, loud stereo, loud color. I just drove up from LA. I usually point out the really nice Vettes and Ferrari's to the wife. "Didn't you see that really nice black Vette going the other way?" Nope, didn't even notice it, dang. That never happens with yellow Vettes or Ferrari's. Here is a picture of my car after a 50 mile cruise. It is dirty. You can't photograph a black car after a nice drive. The opinions expressed here are not necesarily those of management.

Here's mine. Paint is crap, but I'm just getting started.
However, she started out painted white:
I agree that black looks best, but is a pain to maintain. Thought has been creeping into my head, when the time comes, to go back to white...I've got plenty of time to decide.

That being said, I could go much longer without detailing the yellow.
