Default Last Ride Of The Season?

Maybe?

Took the 69 out for a run today. NICE here in Maryland. Almost 70 degrees, but the bad weather and cold is a comin', probably tomorrow.

Pat and I took a 30 mile run to the local ice cream/sub shop, the Arctic Circle.

Car ran like a scalded dog. Took a few blasts with all 6 barrels open.

Hated to park it when I got home.

Everything works....as of today.

When I take it out again in the Spring, how many items will mysteriously have quit on me? Chuck

I just got back from doing the same thing only no ice cream..
Car ran great but I'm hoping there will be a few more days like today before I put her to bed.

I took the Big Block out for a blast this afternoon. It's too early to put them away. This cold air makes great horsiepower. Still have the roofs off. It won't be like this for long but I like to drive them in the winter if the roads are clear and dry. I can't stand the thought of a long winter and no Corvetting. Definite withdrawal symptoms

My 30 mile ride was on two wheels pedaling all the way. My wife and I took a good ride today. Not to many pedaling rides left either. The Vette always stays ready, unless I'm doing mods to it. You never know when a good day in the middle of winter will come.

Great day for a ride here in NY. My 70 ran like a champ and I saw several other classics out today. I saw a guy in a Cobra with a ski cap and all bundled up. It is a little to cool to be riding without a top here in NY. I really enjoyed the ride but who knows when the next one will be. Time to change the oil and wait for spring.

With my '72 currently out of commision, I took my '64 for a nice ride today with the top down. I'm thinking it could be the last time for the year, but you never know. Near 70 here today. Kathy

We also just returned from a 20 mile ride. This was our 5th last ride of the season. I was just happy that we had blue skys today, though it is 45 degrees. The car is safe in the garage again until the 6th last drive of the season (hopefully soon)

What ride? Here at Richmond, Va it was 80F and leaves everywhere. So guess what I did today? Blow the leaves out of the yard started a 11:00 AM and finished about 5:00 PM. The only thing I did with the Corvette was to look at the white cat hair on it. Maybe tomorrow after church if the cooler weather does not come in.

That BITES! We've already had snow and single digits (temp in Farenheit) here in the frigid wasteland they call South Dakota! (don't believe the "South" part of it at all cuz it isn't near far enough south!)

same here in S. Texas. been too hot to drive a vette with wimpy A/C and headers for the past 6 months. now winter is coming and temps will plummet into the 60's and 70's for the next 4 or 5 months. finally will get a chance to drive while others hibernate.

Glad I took my ride yesterday, because it's pouring rain today.

I don't mothball my cars in the winter. They're all "ready to go", unless I have one torn apart for a project.

I'll often take a spin in the dead of winter if the roads are dry.

The cars do run better with the cold dense air.

I'll be spending the day "indoors", watching the Ravens/Titans football game, and the NASCAR race from Phoenix. Chuck
