Default Nordskog Gauges

Yes, I had them in my '79, but took them out and put original gauges back in. I could not see my digital gauges on a sunny day due to glare and reflected light. I also had problems with both temperature gauges, so I gave up on them. I say NAY to these gauges, but others like them a lot. I believe ESU and Jerrylee have both looked into them as well.

Thanks,

I'm running the red ones in my 79 and love them. I bought the kit directly from Nordskog and paid about 30-40 bux more. The kit is a royal pain to install, you have to fly by the seat of you pants a little but if you do get the kit drop me a pm and I'll help whatever way I can. 78 and up is actually a little easier to do. Also you dont get the center gauge bezel thats in the photo. I never asked about and just assumed it was part of the kit, its not. The newer kit is different than what Icanfixitforyou has. I dont have any problem with washing out in the sunlight even with the tops off. Heres how mine looks.

They look like they're quality guages but they look better suited in a Cadillac, not a C3. Just my opinion. The C3 interior just doesn't seem too inviting to digital stuff.

On the plus side, they're probably really accurate and extremely reliable. I'd also imagine that they're extremely easy to see at night and such. So they're great for functionality but don't fit the style.

I kinda think of my C3 as the Battlestar Gallactica - nothing is computerized or connected. At least this way the Cylons cannot take over.
