Default Anyone making plans for Barrett Jackson?

I am personally starting a limo service, a 10 passenger Mercedes Van with the usual thumping stereo etc...

Let me know if I could be of service to you in the Phoenix Arizona Area.

Good to be back btw... Just had to wait a few and get my 71 outta my blood....

My father will be there along with the owner of the #4 1954 Corvette ever built. It's a Bloomington Gold/Duntov survivor that is being auctioned off. The car stayed in out shop for a couple months getting everything ready. I forget the lot # right off hand, but the car got the "primetime" spot for Friday night.

I'm trying my best to make it, it would be cool to be on stage with the car.

I got real depressed last week when that 1970 Chevelle convertible sold for $1,150,000.00 .. Sorry, but no Chevelle could ever be worth that much! That just tells me that there are alot of people that just have way too much money! Now I think I sold my 72 Chevelle SS too cheap at $25,000.. GO figure!

I will be there everyday since I only live 1/2 mile from there. I might also have to put up my 69 427/435 car up for sale during that week just to see what I can get for it.

I went last year, and would like to go again this year, but if the ticket prices go up, I dunno that I'll be able to afford it. If I remember correctly, tickets for Saturday were something like $50/adult, which seemed awfully high.

Talked my father in law into going with me for a long weekend after seeing great airfare deals from Denver $59 each way. First time for both of us. Figured we'd walk around the site 1 entire day until we were exhausted and maybe play golf another 2 days.

Anyone know what the $50 entrance fee suggested in a prior post gets you to see? I assume that only lets you walk the grounds and not into the actual auction....

No no no, you're able to get in to see the auction, but unless you're an actual bidder, you can't get into the special Bidder only seating area.

No big deal there...You can still see everything about the bidding from the general public seating, and you can get right up next to the cars if you're walking the grounds...
