I'm not online very often. Each and every year it seems like the old 71 stays parked more often than not. Now I kind of like cars with all the creature comforts and the cruise nights and car shows have lost there appeal.
I forgot to mention that I have got the temp boot for bad mouthing the moderators!

Bence just went on to other things but for a while he was really keen.

I've learned that the anonymity of the internet can bring out the best and the worst in people. So you have to keep your BS filters running.
I've probably spent more money on my Vette than I would have if Corvette Forum never existed. I've had to prove a point or just try something different.

I might not be an old timer, but I still enjoy hitting the CorvetteForum when I have time. When I joined my children were young, so I couldnt get out to the barn as much, but could jump on the computer. Now that my children are in second and first grade, now i dont have as much time. However, over the last 5 years I have owned 3 vettes, the 69 BB, a 74 SB and 87 coupe. I still have the 69 and 87, and love the forum for the knowledge and the people. I am glad the old timers are still out there.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Examples:
I wanted to cut my SS braided hoses and install fittings. I tried it using some vague instructions but they were no good. Did a search here - found out the best way to do it.
Found out a good way to upgrade my alternator and the wiring. Also, I found a way to upgrade the headlights by installing relays up front (future project).
Found out about a company offering discounts on transmissions and picked up $100 when I bought one.
Looked at a ton of cool pictures of other Vettes - exteriors, interiors and engines. Actually communicated with others about our hobby in the US States and overseas.

Who you callin' old ??
I'm still around, but not much progress on my vette lately - hence not many posts.
Plus, I tend boycott the so-call tech-perf section.
After the split, I lost a lot of interest here.
I've learned that I should have bought a C2 vert when I could afford one ....
now includes C3 vert ... so I'm looking to buy a C4 vert soon.
If I can just stop messing around with boats ...

I am still here and beleive I have the record for the longest build\restoration to date. 6 years and counting!!!!!! I may have other records like,
1. Most stupid questions.
2. Hardest time following directions.
3. Most times changing my mind about configurations, upgrades etc.
4. Aggrevating the most people for help..
I am sure I am missing some.

Think you'll be done by 2025? That gives you 19 more years Then you'll post a thread....how long can an engine sit before it's fired?
