Thanks everyone This is a dream garage for me. I'll still have lots to do on the inside to make it into a real "shop" someday

Yeah I can't believe the price of sheetrock now, and we complain about how gas has gone up

Very NICE. When will the heat and air conditioning be done. The only bad thing about a nice garage is that it gets filled up quickly and then an expansion is needed.

I suggest anyone looking into building a "Garage Mahal" look into "scissor-truss" roof system. It allows high ceiling heights at the same costs as conventional roof systems.

Very nice. I hope to put one in my backyard someday. With your truss system, do you have any attic space? Some additional storage is what I need also.

No attic space, but you could have the roof build half scissor-truss, half conventional, so you can have some overhead storage.
