I may drive my Vette Friday, but it won't be to work. Day off to celebrate B-Day 53

Some of this...

Then some of this....

If my POR15 comes in today and I have my convertible top frame painted I may drive it. Right now my interior is lined with news paper and plastic for the paint job.

I am a NEW Vette owner. I am celebrating the day by driving to Trenton and filing for my registration in person so I can slap those babies on my 71 and get her legally on the street! If I do not go in person it will take a few weeks to get the plates in NJ! Insured, Titled, just need the registration! WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE! Will surely have it out 4th of July Weekend!
Drove her once, the day I picked her up.
Like a big tease sitting there unable to drive it!

Hmm, I just drove it to work last Friday. Right now the forecast is predicting no rain and a high of 81. Maybe.

Maybe if I can get it cleaned up tomorrow night. Doing some sanding/buffing tonight on the paint to clean up a little orange peel from the recent paint job, plus I got caught in the rain the other night, so it's pretty dirty.

going to the DMV on east state street? if i were you i would call ahead.

delaware is supposed to flood in trenton starting later today and not start receding until friday.
so they may be flooded out like they were last year and the year before when it happened and you will make a useless trip.

good luck

Retired before 65...must be nice. I wish I could join you at Hooters (blending two of my favorite things...wings and women).

Not only will I be driving it to work, but I'll be driving it to a Ford dealership to work. Nicest car in the lot on just about any given day.
