Default New C3 Section?? paint/body/interior

Woudn't it be great to have just one more section:

C3 tech/performance
C3 general
C3 bodywork/paint/interior
C3 for sale
C3 parts

It seems to me like this is the hardest info to find on this site. Corvettes are very unique with their fiberglass body panels and it is very hard to find info on body/paint for fiberglass cars. I am sure that many members have posted body/paint projects, but is hard to find.

So what do you think? I am really thinking about trying to paint my vette myself ( I think I will skip the $50 roll on approach....although....)

well, honestly, like any major topic it comes up often, along with timing questions, carb questions, cooling questions, etc. You could make an arguement for a seperate section for those areas, and more, also, but personally I don't think it's needed.

If you do a search, MOST questions can be amswered as more likely than not it's been gone through completely already many times.

No.

Look what happened to the Fac Correct Resto section when they split. Hardly anyone is over there now. When they split C3 Gen people are posting in the wrong section all the time and the mods aren't able to catch them all and maybe not for a couple days. If you want your thread to get less visibility, post you valve nocking question in the interior and paint section.

Splitting the C3 gen section didn't solve anything...it made it worse.

Maybe we need a wheel & tire section too. Transmission section anyone? Floor mat and cup holders? Oh, sorry, that's C5.

There is a very, very good "Body and Exterior" forum on http://www.hotrodders.com

There are many regulars on that forum who do Corvettes. Several of them are professionals.
