isn't it amazing what a simple little egg can do to an automobile? The egg is quite possibly the most harmful thing that someone can throw at it...uhhh, wait, maybe a watermelon...

That realy sucks bad. I hpe you got it off with out to much damage. buy the way if any one cares its kinda interesting,The newest paint strippers (earth freindly and non toxic) uses this same chemical reaction . The enzymes in organic things in a concentrated form can do some serious paint removal .There a few being used in industrial settings ,I have seen a product you could eat and it removed 7 layers of floor paint and also cleaned the cement It took 23 hrs. blew my mind. Now im not talking about citrus strippers they have uses to . hope no one

time is of the essence with removing eggs on paint. The longer it sits the worse the paint damage.
If I ever caught someone egging my car, I would have to show great restraint on inflicting bodily injury. I would be too tempted to mop the mess up with their face. God for bid I catch someone with a key in their hand headed for my car.

I had two weird little paint flaws when I bought my car that looked like a little bullet splat. As soon as my body man looked he said "egg". If the eggs hit square you may see kind of symetrical thing that looks like a bullet hole in glass. The paint is actually fractured from the shell. If you have those the only way to fix is repaint the section. My bodyman told me those shells are so hard they actually crack the paint.

Safety Car
We had a club weekend outing a year ago and overnight in the hotel lot almost every car got egged (luckily I didn't go). I just don't get the mentaility where it is fun to wreck other peoples things. My driver car got keyed this winter. Normally not a major thing but when you are a freshly divorced dad trying to make ends meet the $250 would have been better used elsewhere. The f'ing kids probably didn't think about things like that when they did it, just got a big chuckle. Even when I was young I never understood vandelism. I just knew you had to work too hard for the things we have and some SOB is just jealous or needs some yuks and wrecks others stuff. It just doesn't add up.

Some kid threw an egg on my brothers truck from a tree and my bro turned around and told the kid come down or I'll shoot you down then made the kid take his shirt off and clean his truck off.
When an egg hits paint the shell shatters and leaves little cuts/cracks in the paint that are exactly the same as all the tiny pieces of egg.

I know egging used to be big near me... Friends would do it about everynight till cops finally started to sit out.. To many mail boxes and egged property around the area cops started staying out late.. I know they did it around herr for a rush, and there was nothing else to do.....

FYI: Jesus loves YOU even if you hate Him. Ain't that grand?
Your comment regarding church attendance is obviously to provoke a reaction. It's sad if you had a bad experience with chuch in the past. Don't let one bad experience taint you. Wise men still seek Him.
Take care brother.

Avoiding the religious debate ...
So, if eggs are so damn hard, how come I bring in 13 from the coop
and I always manage to break one while washing them with a sponge ?!?!?
Not much egging near us ... we sell our fresh eggs and not one
teenager came to buy any around Halloween.
Sorry to see your egged paint ... luckily it looks like it will be OK.
