Default I need new seats.... I have some questions...

I need new seats, and I know people are putting new Corvette seats in them I was wondering which ones are the best, and still fold forward easy so I can put the t-tops in the back.

welll ive seen guys on the forum do everything from fiero seats to c6 seats to recaro. For me, i went with a set of 4 in foam 80 seats i got on ebay, then I had a set of leather covers made to match my interior (68 tobacco) and mounted on new foam, I will paint the buckets to match as welll. Much more comfy than the 68 seats (which I will keep and restore later) , plus i get the fold down too. they should be here this week, cant wait

I have 79-82 seats in mine. They are an inch or so taller than earlier seats (could be an issue if you are tall and/or don't have a tilt column), but they do fold nicely so you could store your t-tops. I bought covers already over foam from Al Knoch. Very happy with them. They bolt to your original tracks.

You say you didnt have to modify the track to get the sits in?

Just use your original tracks. They will bolt right up to the late c3 seats.

What is that C5 Vette with a pickup bed called? SSR I think. It has some very nice seats. I wonder if anyone ever considered them, especially for Verts.
