Hi Just wanted to thank everyone for all of the great posts. I have found all the info I have needed up to this point. I have learned more trying to find my answer than I did from the answer I needed.

Make sure when sandlblasting to wear a mask becuase the sand can build up in your lungs and form a glue that clogs them.

We do wear a mask but he wanted a picture to send to my dad and didn't want to wear it in the pic.

Welcome to the madness. Remember to spend some time behind the wheel as well as under and over the car!

Cheers,

Pete

Using a mask when blasting is a always a good idea. Wearing anything short of a fresh-air system when blasting with silica sand isn't going to save you. Best to AVOID USING CHEAP SILICA SAND!!! Use aluminum oxide, glass bead, crushed garnet, walnut shells, etc. depending on what you are blasting.
