Default Hyabusa motorcycle makes 701hp on a dyno. WOW!

Since I too can't reply to a post, here's at least a dyno run that can be viewed.

For your entertainment...

701 HP!!! That is probably 1 HP/Lb. Unbelievable. I would bet that would be a rocket ship.

Too bad I cannot get the video to load. Oh well.

I'm with big 632. I was out at Bonneville Salt flats and the wildest rice rocket death machine had twin turbos and two 20 lb nitrous bottles so it could be on the spray for up to 90 seconds didn't even claim 700.

You have to figure that even if the motor is enlarged to 1500 cc it's still only 90 cubic inches.

The best blown NHRA alki cars are making about 6 hp per cubic inch and that's with 50 PSI of boost

But you just never know

nope it's for real. i can't tell from the video but it will either be hank booth's or john noonans bike in it. although i think it is hanks. if i remember hank used this one for dyno games only. the one he has used to set multiple LSR records makes less HP.

If you pause the video you can see the HP numbers are in the very high 600s. Perhaps the 700 run was a different one... or it just sounded better.

If you click on the video as it's playing, you'll be able to watch it full screen I paused it and you can see the numbers on the side of the graph easier. He is surely knocking on the door of 700hp if he didn't hit it Either way, that's a lot of HP on a bike

My little 500cc makes 110HP at the rear wheel normally aspirated out of a 21 year old motor. I'm building a new motor right now that will make in the 160 RWHP range normally aspirated. It weighs 319 dry and 349 full of gas.

I simply can't imagine full throttle on that. My HD Sporty has a lot of torque and I suppose that's what I enjoy around town, plus mine sounds different. Amazing!

A stock busa is about 450lbs dry, i've seen 500hp busa pull wheelie at 160. As in doing 160 then crack the throtle and pull the front end up. Pretty sweet

Pretty neat really. But you could never use that kind of power. I had the chance to play with a little 350hp turbo Hyabusa. And I have been on motorcycles since I was 6 lol. You better have your head on right before you crack that throttle open. The person that let me ride that moped told me that even in high gear at 150mph if he hit the throttle too hard it would still smoke the tire. I guess I am getting old or smarter as I do not need something like that under me lol.

Awwww heck I will add this lol. My old main play toys were the 79 Honda CBX Six banger. Now in stock form in its hay day it made only 110HP and I did a few upgrades and still only brought it to 150HP which is not bad till you think that bike came in at 600pounds before the rider even got on it. But a better wheelie bike I have never had.

It couldn't ever get something as heavy as a vette moving. It torque is probably in the 3-5 ft/lb range

My gsxr 600 puts down 107 at the rear wheel and i have no problem bringing it up in 3rd gear at about 65mph. It is a 350lbs dry bike
