I love the way they take the valve stem and moved them off of the lip of the rim. Hence the name Smoothies. Really cleans the wheel up nicely. This wheel will be on my short list when it comes time to upgrade wheels.

Copter...yes, I can relate to what your saying about the old shool. It';s either the TT 2's or the Smoothie's. Needless to say, I'm leaning way towards the Smoothie's.
Eddie70... I didn't realize the valve stem or rather lack of it...by the way...where is it?? In regards to the short list...ummmm. I believe this wheel will be on my Vette when she rolls out for driving. Richwoods, sent me this pic below (I've been drooling over it ever since he sent it to me). He said it was a friend of his.... Nice Vette!!!! is an understatement... Still lookn' for more smoothie's!! Thanks

I agree completely!
Too modern just does not fit but an updated, aggressive but somewhat classic look is perfect.

I tend to be in the purist camp when it comes to wheels, but I was looking at some of Shane's before pictures, and the smoothies have really brought his vette to life.

I have to agree with you Sline78... and I have my ralleys blasted and repainted. There ready when need be... but, I'll run the Smoothie's as a daily... And I do have agree with the other comment as well...
Shane's ride is very, very nice (without the rims) but, the Smoothie's do cap it off well... Thanks Shane!!! and thanks for the info...

The valve stem on Smoothie II's are up on the surface the spokes are on. It is between two of the spokes so it is essentially out of sight. Still easily accesible with any air hose. Great idea IMO. All wheels should be this way.
