Well, it may be no surprise that a C3 driver waves, but ...

I was just standing in the front yard, cutting firewood.
A guy that has an '80 down the street went by and tooted.
Yeah - everyone knows I'm a vette-head. I waved back and
felt a little jealous, since it was over 60 degrees and sunny.

Later yesterday afternoon, I started the vette up, took her
outside, installed my "new" original 79 water neck (with electric fan switch installed).
Works good - on about 200 and off about 180 - according to the dash guage.
Hey, at least she drove out of the garage and reach full operating temp.

Oh yeah - installed the second horn, too (2 138db blasters).

I found that my exhaust hits the underside of the body, too.
Hopefullly, I can just loosen the system and make it fit better.
Perhaps the 75 exhaust under the 70 body is the issue.
I think that is justification for sidepipes.

Well, I was shooting for this month, but I think my new wheel
purchase just delayed that. 'til when ? I dunno yet ... maybe next month ... maybe March or April.
PS - not wagon wheels ... here are the wheels I'm getting ...
