VBP or VanSteel?
06' is the year my C3 gets a new suspension. I'd like to keep it close to stock but realize improved performance may mean retrofitting some components.
I'm impressed with both the products & customer service of VBP and VanSteel.
Hate to play them against each other but I would like to get some member input.
Thanks!!
James

Both are a safe bet but you can count on it going on sale right AFTER you buy it.

You have to look at the details of the kits because sometimes there are slight differences that account for some of the price differences. Like everyone else said, either company is great to deal with.

Rick: I noticed similar components that are packaged in slightly different kits/combinations.
Thanks to all for your input.

It is my opinion that VanSteel gets many of their components/
packages from VBP. VanSteel will give you more personal customer
service - highly recommend both and/or either.
I hope that clears it up

For an example, when I bought my rebuilt trailing arms from Van Steel recently Dan asked if I needed a shim kit (which I did). He mentioned that their shim kit was a little more expensive that others because they used Grade8 bolts instead of Stainless bolts. They felt that the Grade8 bolts were stronger than stainless and I went along with that line of reasoning since I have experience with 1 Vette and they have a respected Vette business. I feel I can trust their judgement.
VB&P and Van Steel are both competitive and complementary businesses so there is a lot of cross-pollination. My impression from talking to both businesses is that Van Steel is a bit more flexible operation when it comes to putting together custom packages at a favorable price. If VB&P has a package that you want and the price is right they are very efficient folks also.
I have so many parts to buy that I'll probably keep both businnesses solvent for a few years.
