I found a cable unplugged by my fuse box and thought it might have something to do with the alarm, but no dice. I plugged it in and the only thing that I noticed was different was that when I put the key in the ignition and turned it a beep noise came on, what is going on here?

that could explain why it had been disconnected, on the other side it says phillips... I think you are right.
