i'm trying to put in my chamber exhaust and i can't seemed to finaggle the pipe through the cross member to the headers..the pipe keeps hitting the transmission.... should i just take it to an exhaust shop and have them install it all...

Another MAD chambered exhaust? You might as well head to the muffler shop. I speak from the experience with my '77 with auto.

I paid to have mine installed. I'd read all the stories about how the pre-fabbed systems were just a little off for a particular car leading to placement issues, squeaks, rubbing and decided that it wasn't worth the headache.
