Ok...ok...you got me That IS one nice 'Vette. Most of the ones with chrome bumpers that I've seen didn't look good but that one sure does.

Safety Car
I was going to originally vote " no flares". But after seeing some of the photos posted, if really depends on what is going on with the rest of the car. There are some really nice looking flared vettes here.

Thanks, StingrayDK!
Those are SPA Design GT/Sedan Mirrors from Pegasus. I didn't want to put original style mirrors back on the car because they never did hold their position.
These turned out to be smaller than I expected and I still have trouble with them loosening up. I just haven't gone to the trouble to find something else.

no flares. cleaner.
flares can look great if the whole stance (wheels/tires/ride ht) is WELL thought out. however, this is rarely done and deceivingly difficult to actually pull off.

The wheels on Chris McDonald's vette (the black one) are Intro Pentia wheels, as for the flares, both Chris' car and TZracers have the ACI flares,if you buy them through mid america they're cheaper than from ACI.

There is no reason you can't cut them down to a smaller size if you wish. They have to be hand fitted anyway. This is a picture of the install. There are more pictures on our website http://www.tropiczoneracing.com/Rebuild.htm
If you have a big block, you can't have big enough tires for the street.
