I'm selling my four mid-years
Actually, when three of them sell I'll stop and keep the last one.
The cars are on consignment at Victory Lane Auto, 3245 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The owner, Shawn Mongeur, is selling them for me. For additional information beyond what I describe below, please call Shawn at 804-524-0640. I bought all these cars from him, which he had hand picked, so he is quite knowledgeable about them. I am selling for personal reasons. I asked Shawn to sell them because he is honest and trustworthy, and I have a very busy work life right now.
1963 Split window, Riverside red, black interior. Powerglide, 300 hp, PW, PS, PB. Car runs like a dream. The interesting thing about this car is that as far as I know, it is the last split window coupe made on the last day of production, August 7, 1963 that is still in existence. Its VIN 30837S121498 is only 15 cars from the end of production. The next highest coupe I have been able to find (surveyed in Noland Adams' book the Technical Guide, Vol 2) is 22 cars prior to that, number 121477. I am hoping that the build records will one day be found to determine if this is actually the last coupe made. At the end of production convertibles were highly predominant, and the last car 121513 was a convertible. Original engine, numbers matching, new paint job in 2003 is gorgeous.
1964 red convertible with 57k actual miles, 365 hp four barrel. Black interior. I am fourth owner. Had complete frame off restoration finished in 1992 and only 10k miles put on the car since then. Original engine. Upper half engine rebuild in 2000 due to a hairline crack in the bore of the right side original head. Have all the old parts. New hydraulic lifters done then -still have solid lifters and cam. Only 770 miles on the engine rebuild. The soft top is made with C5 material. Hard top is included. You could eat dinner off the underside of this car. Just a beautiful automobile.
1964 Daytona blue coupe, blue vinyl interior. 365 hp, four barrel Holley. Manual. New paint job in 2004. Highly original, numbers matching. Last judged in California in 1989 and scored 94. Engine rebuild in 1989; have pictures and receipts. This car loves to go flat out. Car comes with two sets of wheels and tires: original style tires and original wheelcovers; also has radial tires on new reproduction 1965 knock off wheels.
1966 big block with '67 stinger hood. Silver with black stinger, black interior. Soft and hard tops. Only 26k actual miles. 115 trophies from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s! 1968 engine,427 with 425hp. Three deuces. Has very rare 427 400hp intake made only in late '68 and '69. Another dinner worthy underside. Stunning car, stunning power and sound.
The dealer (Shawn) also has a 1962 roadster beautifully restored, with a 327 1967 engine, 300hp.
Also in the showroom is a black 1966 coupe with AC and telescopic steering wheel, and all the power options, 300hp Powerglide. Real pretty car.
These cars will not disappoint. I could e-mail some pictures; have not been successful at putting images on this site from HPphoto. Sorry.
Please discuss prices with Shawn if you are interested.

Re: I'm selling my four mid-years (Cursillo86)
Well that's quite a collection. What else is left to toy with? Just curious and frankly not any of our business but if these are the disgards, I can only imagine, and I have some imagination, what's left??
How's the C1 collection?
Any group photos?
Best of luck with the sale!

Re: I'm selling my four mid-years (Cursillo86)
All these cars have been in my backyard (Williamsburg) and you never let me see them!?
I'd love to buy them but I am just finishing my degree at William & Mary and don't have the money now. If they're ever back in Williamsburg I would LOVE to see them.

Update:
The beautiful '64 convertible is sold to a very lucky buyer. I will hate seeing it leave, but he will treasure if for sure.

Hi Mark,
I have sent you an e-mail about how to reach Shawn this weekend. There is a lot of interest in this car.
Thanks, Daniel

Re: I'm selling my four mid-years (Cursillo86)
i will try to take some pics when i head home for Easter break. Ive grown up from day one with a Corvette. The car has kinda been through alot. It was stolen twice in the late 60's. Thank God each time the car was found a few hours later with only minor damage done. It was a daily driver until the 70's and has been garaged kept since the mid 70's. Admittedly it is rough around the edges and i would list it in fair/good condition. You will be able to decide for yourself.
