No, that would be U.S.A Dollars unless you would like to give it in Canadian Funds. Then that would be $ 55,500 Cdn :chevy

Sounds like a nice car...but you're asking $16,500US more than the last split window that sold on the forum -- and that one was pretty darn nice too.
I think you'll find that Corvette prices have soften considerably. So you might adjust your expectations.
But I do hope that you get what you're asking for your wonderful car.

The last Split Window they are talking about is a base car NOM, 3 speed.
20 was all the money. Nicer cars demand better dollars.

Asking prices have been high, but sales prices have not. While I can't speak to the national shows, most of the sales are private, rather than auction. The best concours show cars will always fetch good money at those types of shows/auctions due to captive audiences looking to buy a car that weekend (and the level of competition in bidding etc...and all the other things that cause people to submit record bids for cars each year.)
But in the private sales world, people are buying '63 Split Windows in the $20K range. My neighbor back in Houston purchased one with 4spd, a/c, matching numbers and a host of other options in very nice condition for $24K.
That, with the $20K last sale were some of the basis of the value...also some local sales around Washington State recently.
Again, I hope you get what you are asking, because it sounds like an amazing car. (I certainly would love to have it in my garage, but my wife would shoot me dead for bringing home another Corvette.)
And by your car fetching top dollar, it helps to increase the value of all of our cars. I am in no way shape or form saying the car isn't worth $36K or even more (just that those in the market for this car might be waiting for someone to panic sale their car.)

I don't remember anyone asking for sammyb's "expert" opinion. If you have something unsolicited to say about someone's attempt to sell his/her vehicle, take it private. You're certainly not helping him sell it by taking arbitrary shots at his vehicle without even seeing the car in person.

Sledge,
I agree with your comment. BTW, nice looking car! I have a "two top" '63 and IMHO think the hardtop on the vert's look better than any coupe. :yesnod:

Re: 1963 Split Window Coupe For Sale (sammyb)
Thanks for the Opinion . I love the Car and really don't care if I sell it or not.If I did , I would turn around and buy another 63 SWC . It turns my crank and every year I drive it and maintain it's upkeep , it beats inflation ( unlike my Stocks and Bonds ) , which I could also sell presently and LOSE a lot of money.
If I needed the money , I would sell it at a lower price and LOSE money but I'm NOT interested in that option .
The $20 K Corvette you talked about was a beautiful car and I called immediately to see if I could purchase it as I wondered if it was underpriced . It might have been because it SOLD IMMEDIATELY
These are ONLY opinions and I hate to draw lines in the sand.
By the way , I've got $20 K dollars for your 2002 QuickSilver/Black/Black C5 Convertible - MN6, Z51, 1SC, 12-Disc Changer. Born 10/1/01 but ONLY if you reply in the next 24 hrs ( JUST KIDDING ) :chevy

I have 30837S111272, what is the second 327 ID? I might be interested in the second engine by its self if you will sell separately.

Not sure what you mean . I would NOT sell the Matching Numbers 327 motor that is out of the car and the 327 motor presently in car is out of a 67 Camaro
Hey , that Senators kid , Jason Spezza is going to be a good one !!!
