1965 coupe
Have a 1965 coupe for sale black with red interior, 327 fuel injected motor, 4 speed trans,
car belonged to my father and now me, I have no time to go thru and get running again so I am selling, car was running when parked and has sat in a climate controlled garage for last six years, paint is in good condition(repainted in early 90's), frame and underside is rust free, car never saw rain nor snow and was meticulously maintained , mileage is 129,841 , the interior shows some cracking on seats but no tears, little wear on carpet under gas petal.
Car did run, and run well when parked, does not start now, will need battery, tank cleaned, lines flushed to run, would recommend changing all fluids as it has set last 6 years
I currently do not have pictures of the car as it is in my fathers vacation home in upper Mi (I am in Ft Wayne In) interested parties will have to make an appointment to see as it will require me driving 8 hrs or so to get to it to show the car, I am only free on the week ends so sat or sundays work best, asking price is $23,500 and this is fair because I know that these cars bring much more when running and junk rollers bring upwards of $15k , this is a nice driver that looks very nice, but since it wont start I have set the price accordingly, you are welcome to bring a compression checker as it has excellent compression, I have a battery box to show you it does turn over, title is clear with no liens, and comes with original bill of sale to my father from the dealership where he bought it as with paper work from probate where it transferred over to me
Car is available on a first come first served basis, im not holding it, and not making multiple trips
first $23,500 or best offer takes it, this is a nice car but honestly I have to many show type vehicles now that dad passed

About eight months ago I decided that my next Corvette would be a 65 FI. I have had 7 fuel cars in the past and only one 65, a real junker. As I started to chase down leads on 65 fuel cars I found that fake ones began at $50K, real questionable ones about $70, ones with restamped blocks about $100, and nice ones that I would want were about $125-$130K. The chances of a real one at this offered price seem pretty slight.

Do the math; I hope you guys aren't holding your breath. IF this car is for real it's sold, and if it's not sold, DO NOT send your money until you see the car.

Not just Corvette scams but tons of others.
We all know what just the motor and fuelie unit is worth.

that would be up to the new owner, not my place to do so now, but Im sure that pics and more details will surface soon since he got to see what it was parked next to but that said he seemed very happy to get headed home and start breathing life into her, it was a nice car but the two I kept were nicer lol

Might as well call TOTAL BS!!!....The "Seller"(???!!!), posted the 65 Coupe(???!!!) for sale (???!!!) on 7/16/14 a Wednesday & stated he could ONLY show the car Sat/Sun because he was located in Fort Wayne, Indiana & the car was located in upper Michigan.
Then on 7/19/14 at 12:08AM!!!, the OP posts the car is sold(???!!!).
The Earliest the car could be shown according to the OP was Sat, so apparently the new owner purchased the car at 12:01 AM Sat morning & the OP after counting $23,500.00 in CASH, IMMEDIATELY got on his computer to report to all of us, that the car sold!!!, How thoughtful of the OP to be Soooooo Concerned with us!!!...Mark
