Funny you should mention that, I still go out there and just look at the car, its a work of art to be admired. Photos are good, but you really have to see this in person, many members of the CF have seen the car, and will tell you the paint and body is worth a million dollar shine... Yep I will miss it when it goes, but life goes on, and I do take solace knowing the person who buys this will be in his garage looking at it too....

docent, I can understand why you keep coming back to look at this car. I have no connection to the seller but, boy, if I were in the market for a SWC (investment grade) I'd be dreaming about this car as it's new owner, and asking my wife for permission to bump up the budget.

This car is at the top of my list - - - My wife the bookkeeper, tells me I'm good for $85K right now. Might be able to bump it alittle in June, after our daughter gets married. (and gives up the credit cards)

She's nice and warm under dusk cover with battery tender, sleeping through the cold winter, ready to meet it's new owner. Funny, an old friend of mine stopped by the house last night, we were stationed overseas together many years ago, and he is in Washington going through some training classes, anyhow, he has never seen the 63, and first thing he wanted to see and hear it. Well it was nice out and I removed the cover and connected battery, primed and held the gas pedal down, it came to life. He looked and heard and heard and looked, then after a few minutes he spoke. You are a great photographer, and I have known this for years, but no way in hell could you EVERY capture the beauty, soul, and sound of this car. It's so much better than the photos, and now I know why you talk about this car so much. He stood there for about ten minutes walking around the car, and his final words, why the hell are you selling the piece of art? I told him sometimes I ask myself the same question, and many times I have almost pulled this string off the forum, but another voice tells me, its time to move on. I told him that, and he said, You have got to listen to your heart and simply go where you soul leads you..... She is back asleep, waiting for warmer weather this spring. We went out to eat, and bid him farewell, as he returned to DC....

Default mint 1963 coupe (swc)

Your car is simply awsome! When I was ll yrs old, we moved to southern California from western N.Y. Every Sunday,we would take the same route to church. There was a silver 63 swc parked in a driveway along the route. I eagerly looked forward to seeing the car every Sunday. Your car reminds me so much of that car! Today, I am the proud owner of a 67 427/435 coupe! Loving every minute of it! Good luck with the sale!

Yes, spotted that too. Rear wheels appear slanted in every photo. If alignment verified, just wondering what else could cause rear wheels to look out of whack. Otherwise, great looking car with reasonable asking price.

I'm finding myself becoming more serious every time I see this post!

What a magnificent car! It truly has to be one of the very best SWCs out there! GWTS--this car deserves a very special owner.

The car is being sold with the original steel wheels and covers, and not the ET Mags shown in the photo you are referencing. The car was aligned a few months ago and certainly doe not look like the photo you saw above. Before the car is sold, I will have another realignment, oil change, and air filter changed for new owner. I did us a super wide angle lens when photo was taken and think it magnified the fault. FYI rear wheel was found to be off, but not by much, it was corrected.
