Default F/S 1966 Mosport Green 4spd Coupe

1966 Corvette Coupe For Sale
Up for sale is my 1966 Mosport Green Corvette Coupe Vin # 19437S110618 built on 1-10-66. This car is one of 2311 Mosport Green Corvettes built. This is a one year only color and is rare and hard to find. Now and then you will see a Mosport Green Roadster but not that many Coupes, probably less than one thousand Coupes built. This car was originally bought by an airline pilot and in 1972 it was sold. The second owner bought it with the intention of keeping it and drive it and take care of it and then when he retired to sell the car and use the money to help in his retirement income. Well that is what has happened this car has been babyed and has had the same owner from 1972 till now 2013. This is an outstanding 327 with 300 hp. 4 speed with Green Interior. Also some key items are the Kelsey Hayes Knock Off Wheels, Side Pipes and AM FM radio. The shifter for some reason was changed years ago to a Mr. Gasket Shifter. This car looks and sounds cool as it cruises down the road with a rust free bird cage and only a little surface rust on the chassis. There are NO RUST issues with this chassis or car and with only 69,800 mls. Turn the key and drive it anywhere you want and people will look at you not only because you are in cool car but you are driving a rare 1966 Mosport Green Corvette Coupe. With this car you cannot go wrong. This car will be at the NCRS Winter Regionals in Kissimmee starting Jan. 22 - 25th or you can PM me or call my cell 317-945-5121 or e-mail me mikes54vet@aol.com $56,000.00
Yes they are real K/O wheels.

Mike why are you selling. As I remember you were on a long search looking for this specific color and even asking where were all of the Mosport green coupes. Just curious to know because you have not had it very long. Are the K/O wheels dated 66?

Jay I just bought a Corvette Challenge Race Car and my garage is only so big. You keep watching me and you will see that when I want a car I go after it and when I do something else has to go. I can always say "I owned one of those" who know what car I will want next or when I will want it. When I do maybe the Challenge car will have to go. Just have to wait and see. I don't know for sure if the K/O are 66 dated or not so I won't say one way or the other..

Hello Mike,

I did not know that you bought a new race car. Congrats. Yes I know what you mean when you are out of room and something has to go. I can relate. I asked about the K/O because they look identical to the ones that were on my 65 that were knock off wheels but they were reproductions.

Good luck on your sale for a very nice looking car.

Hi Mike,

Beautiful car. Good luck with the new project and sale of the 66.

I'll look for you at Kissimmee, and have a beer or two together. This will be my first time at this meet.

Steve

Beautiful Mosport coupe Mike Surprised you are letting it go but I understand the space issues and the lust for the next Corvette.

Good luck with your sale and see you in Kissimmee

Mike-If you know of someone who wants a red 62 or a red 54 let me know so that I can buy your 66. Plan B is to get you drunk in Florida and have you send me the 66 and I can "pay you later." Love the car! See you in a few weeks.

The car has had one repaint back in about 83 and the interior has been redone. I can not say that I have seen any cars that are about 48 yrs. old that look as nice as this car looks. I would assume that a car this old has had some things done to it. OH I forgot, I bought the car last year.

Guys, this isn't a discussion thread, it's a for sale classified. Please keep the comments focused on asking a question or advancing the sale. If you aren't getting the info you want, please send the seller a PM or move on to another thread. Thanks.
