RR code
A 64 RR code corvette is one of the rarest production mid-years ever built 241 coupes. In 15 years I have found 3 ,one sold right in front me for 85k and the others are not for sale. There is a lot made into this configuration and I do not on want one restamped with a "TOP-FLIGHT award with all the paperwork including the original cancelled check from the original purchase; from some dealer I would rather find one with no paperwork from an owner of 30 plus years and a true story...Real car from a real guy!

Beautiful corvette Dave! I wish it was a 64. A am a 64 freak mostly because of the interior no other mid-year has a 64 elegant interior! I own a 67 big block vert, 63 fuelie split, 64 365 coupe,59 duel Quad,65 maroon/maroon coupe and few others but my 64 is my favorite. Thank you for the offer, it is a stunning car!

Not sure where he got the 1 of 4 made from. The Noland Adams book has 243 A/C 365hp coupes made. Hm, I wonder what's the accurate number.
When he first listed the ad, the auction was started at $55k with a reserve set. I wonder what he wants for the car. Nice rare car either way.

Burning Brakes
Last year I went and looked at one close to here, it's probably the nicest 64 L-76 air coupe I've ever seen, if I had been in a position to buy it I'd have it in my garage right now.
I can check to see if it's still available. It wasn't advertised and it wasn't a must-sell situation.

I know this car well. It is the ''real deal''. Brian Pallas owned it here in California back in the early 2003-04.
Car was restored in Florida by a long time Master Judge and received many NCRS TOP FLIGHT Award in 1998-99 and the DUNTOV AWARD in 2000. Also received BLOOMINGTON GOLD in 1998.
If I remember correctly, the car was invited to AMELIA ISLAND in 2000 and appeared at that show. Email me if you want more.

Drifting
I may be close to buying one of these. I was wondering if the OP had any insights for what to look for on these? I'm guessing the values are still up there too?? Thanks

Safety Car
The AC pulley is about 4 inches in diameter, larger than those used on standard 250hp and 300hp cars.
The key to value here is DOES IT HAVE THE ORIGINAL ENGINE, and AC UNIT . Factory paperwork like a window sticker and protect plate with ownership history will add a lot of value to the car.
Hire a qualified person to inspect the car.
