I had a blue 54 a few years ago, but not as nice as yours. I was offered a crazy, and I mean crazy price and let it go. Pennant Blue is the best color for these early cars. My first exposure to Corvettes was a mechanic who had one in 58-59 at a shop where I was the go-fer guy. They are indeed special cars.

When I had my first 54 Corvette and finished restoring it, the first trip for it was from Greenwood, Indiana (Indianaplis) to the NCM in Bowling Green Ky. I drove it there and had it on display of Labor Day weekend 1999 along with one of every other year Corvette and the 53 that my brother in law had we drove down together. I would drive my 54 almost every place. I got a lot of and a lot of people telling me to take it home and put it in a garage where it would be safe. Between me and my 9 mm Smith & Weston I think it was safe. The 54 that we are working on now I plan on having it at the next Caravan to the NCM in 2014. We got a ways to go but it is coming along.
It will be in Crystal Red Matallic with cream and Crystal Red interior when finished.

Anyway weather it is like mine or original like the Red one or a Blue one or a Black one. They are made to drive and enjoy. Some one will be buying an outstanding Red 54 Vette when they buy yours.

I think the car is great and priced very fairly as well.

Well hard to believe that my 54 still hasn't sold but maybe everyone wants a 63 coupe. I have been on a two month road trip in my RV and have had difficulty connecting with some inquiries. I'm back home now and have good internet connection once again. Bill 207-242-8619 or wemillis@gmail.com

It looks like my 54 is sold. I have had an offer which I accepted. Once the funds are in my bank I will be on the hunt again. The 62 sold and now the 54 so there is a big hole in my garage.
