Default Still Waiting!

I'm still waiting for pictures, build information and pricing.

I'm patient--no hurries.

Hi Chad...no, I haven't sold my '67 yet. I haven't been real aggressive; only posted it for sale on this forum. These days if you want to sell, you need to be putting it all over the internet...ebay, autabuy, etc. My favorite is carsonline.com...I have had a lot of car buddies have success on that site. There a few Corvette specialists who will probably contact you when they see your car for sale, to put it on their sites. Pick and choose carefully. Lastly, don't overprice it, but don't give it away...the right price will do more to sell it than anything else. Good luck and I hope you find a "bigpockets" buyer. Nick

Please start your own thread, either in the C2 Cars For Sale section if you have determined an asking price, or in the General section if you are looking for advice or input. Thanks.

That is a GREAT looking car and in my opinion very fairly priced. Good luck with the sale.

motorcop71, thanks for the kind words. It's not so much the price, but the value. You are just not going to see many '67 L89 convertibles around, whether real or cloned or a tribute like mine. Yeah, you could build one for around 90k, but for that kind of money you should build an L88 or LS3 restomod. Since this is around 2/3rds of that, it's a value.

Nick, I still think you should put it in the Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno next month, get your $100,000.00 and buy my truck and the 02.
There, problem solved.

Default Pictures

Some pictures of the engine, frame, etc - just normal pictures from someone wanting to sell a car would help a lot.

There are soooooo many pictures of this car on this forum that anyone doing a search might get bored. However, for any serious buyer, I provide additional access to my photobucket link for the tons of pics there. Are you interested OldCorvetter, or just curious?

Have a buddy looking for a 67 L-79 roadster. Your color or Silver. You having the engine might work for him. I don't spend my life on this forum and have no idea how to search for pictures of your car.

I looked at the one thread that you described and found 2 or 3 pictures of the car with about 20 other car pictures in the threads of other cars. These pictures were fairly useless to me. Just showed a car with a ribbon hanging from it.

If you have photos of the car that I could use to evaluate the car. Engine, frame details, etc then, ye please, send me a link.

No offense OldCorvetter, but you never filled out your public profile, and without a public profile, I just don't feel comfortable sharing private/personal files. Maybe if you took the time to complete it (and you don't have to live on this forum to do so) I would know whom I am dealing with, and we could move forward. Nick

No offence taken Nick. I am a little baffled though as all I was looking for was a few basic pictures.

I'm sure you'll understand if I also don't feel comfortable dealing with an individual that won't provide any pictures of his car that is for sale, expects everyone to intrinsically know his car and also expects them to dig through scattered random threads on a web site in order to possibly get a glimpse of a car that has inexplicably been for sale for 1.5 years.

No offence Nick. Best of luck with your sale.

Wait a second here...you're calling me pompous because you don't have the simple basic courtesy of filling out your public profile so that me and all the other members on this forum know who we are dealing with? Oh yes, I will sell my car, just not to you...oh I forgot, you not even the person with the mondy looking to buy the car...you're just the "tire kicker" for someone else. No offense.

Busted Nick!! We know your car is like one of those in the old GM Autorama shows of the 50's, and is nothing but an empty shell. Hey oldcorvetter, that's Mister pompous to you! I kind of hope you don't sell it, because it will give me time to save my pennies. I have to admit though, I do have a friend of a friend of a friend who is looking...............
