looks very nice and sounds familiar...i am about to do the same thing with my BB. Mine was also an original Lyndale Blue L79...now Red and a very big block...
I hope you sell for 75K plus it is a very nice looking machine and if you are like me you probably have 6 figures in the car

tdelph...thanks for the kind words. Love the red on your car and a 468 BB has to be a lot of fun. Was that a crate motor or did you build it from scratch? Love it...Nick

Thanks for the ttt 1974purchase. This car has not been sitting in the garage. So far this car show season, this car has won Best Looking Car in Yerington, NV, 1st place Best Corvette at the Fallon NV show and at a Reno, NV show, 1st place Sports Car (against such cars as a newly restored 57 t-bird and a GT40) in Carson City, Best Corvette at a Sacramento, CA show; I might have missed another win somewheres. And the best offer I had to date was 60k. Now 60k is a lot of money in todays economy and classic car market, and I seriously considered it, but while this is not a fully documented, historically significant Barret Jackson high dollar car, it is worth a couple bucks more than 60k, especially with it's original matching number L79 and all the original parts included. Thanks again, Nick

I guess that's one way to finally win...the problem is you'ld actually have to buy a Toyota!!! Wait, don't tell Debbie I said that...she drives a Toyota. Not going on Saturday...we don't exactly get along with Jeff the service manager...you'll eventually find out why since you now have to take it to them for service. Have fun

Hey Chris. Nah...not going to Johnny Rockets today. Ha too much going on. Getting too many plaques and trophies for the garage anyway. JUST KIDDING!!!

Just an update...wanted to bring any interested buyers attention to the thread titled "SIXTSVN wins HAN award" started by Mike67nv. Not a bad award out of 6000 cars to pick from.

Sir: Are you sure the color of your very nice tribute C2 is Lyndale blue?
Unless the photo's are darker it sure looks like Marina Blue to me......
Very nicely restored and color combo , good luck with sale....

Thanks Mountie43488. Yep, if you saw the car in person you would definitely see it is Lynndale and not Marina. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Marina. When we did the respray, base coat/clear coat, we had a little metallic put in for "highlights." I think this makes it look "different" than regular Lynndale laquer. Sometimes it looks so dark, you'd almost think it's Daytona and sometimes so light it looks like Trophy. Depends on the lighting, and the camera I guess. Anyway, thanks again for checking it out and your comments.
