1959 Corvette stolen during Corvette Fame!!!
Dear fellow members,
In the night of July 8-9, 2011 a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette was stolen out of the garage of the Atlanta hotel in Valkenburg aan de Geul, Netherlands, where the owner, Piet Baggerman, resided awaiting the start of the international Corvette Fame meeting.
This sad news has been posted on several Dutch forums already, and the Dutch police has been informed as well.
All of us are very concerned that the Corvette will be, or has already been, exported to another country and will be offered for sale abroad.
The VIN of this car is J59S104971.
Here is a picture, the day before it was stolen:

Please try and inform ALL the corvette lovers in the world about this the VIN of the car is J59S104971 Post it on your forums, websites etc thanks in advance.

It's mailed by Ronald and me to most Corvette clubs in Europe and posted on Facebook and Hyves.
It got posted on many forums around the world by Facebook friends.
We HOPE we can help find this C1 for it's owner.

It is a pity you can't pull surveilance video from surrounding area's like they do on most cop shows, as the local Police may only treat this as just another stolen car, we of course appreciate that this car is as valuable as the Crown Jewels
