Default Just took delivery of C2 purchased on this forum

Today I took delivery of a '66 big block coupe purchased on this forum from 97coupechuck. The car was delivered from Texas to Lewiston New York and I drove the car across the border and home to Toronto. This auto shipper (PEX) was recommended to me by another member of this forum (thanks Rico!) and I can now highly recommend them myself (great service, competitive pricing).

Here are a few shots from today:

The mileage is in KM 103 KM equals 60 miles

Thanks! The period correct Texas plates are important (here in Canada) to authenticate the vehicle as a Southern Car. Here are the style of plates that I'll be registering the car with:

Very nice - you were lucky with the weather too! I bet that there were not a lot of C2's in the traffic with you!

These guys were good enough to be entrusted with shipping this $21 million '57 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa so I thought they'd be good enough for me (and my shoe string budget):

If he did, I would have bought that one! Silver is still my favorite colour, but yellow is not far behind. The big block made the choice an easy one for me, along with the car's condition and originality, as in:

Glad to see someone has good luck on this forum. I have tried to buy and sell several Corvette parts on this form with no luck. Sold my 63 SWC on Craigs list for $4,500 more than was advertized on this site. Only action on this site were people commenting that I was way over priced.Guess not!!! Recently advertized my collection of 63-64 parts with not one sale or even a question. Monday I took a complete pickup load of 63-64 parts to the scrap yard. There were 3/ 63 diffs and 2 62/ 870 blocks in the pile. Also a 63 HP dash complete. Got $50 for the hole load from the scap guy. I guess no-one needs any 63 parts!!!

Default Nice66

Brent, Congrats. on a nice looking coupe! That car is Sweet. I also just bought a 66 from a forum member(see my new avitar photo), and can not wait to get it home..but probably not till mid April. I will be checking out the moving company. Enclosed trailer is the only way to go unless you want to drive it all the way, and it is to early in the year for folks up here in the north to try to drive one very far. I am happy to see that you had decent weather...have fun with the new car. I know I am looking forward to mine!!
