Default Looking for a 65-67 Corvette

I know alot of guys dont like to post their cars for sale on the Forum. I just sold my Pace Car and I am looking for a 65-67 Convert preferably, must be a 4speed. I dont want a rust bucket or anything that needs a ton of work. I dont want flares. I would like it to be as original as can be except maybe wheels. I like to change up cars every year so this one will be my 2010 car. I dont make a living at buying and selling but have fun doing it as a hobby and always have a cool car for the year. I never fall in love with them but do miss some. Im looking for 35-43K for the right car. Thanks in advance You can send info to Bowtyeguy@aol.com

Thanks everyone, I have had alot of emails about cars. I am going to go with a convertible this year so coupes are now not in the picture. I would like numbers matching and paperwork but it doesnt have to be, but should look original. I have had some offers on 63-64s but I am not going with that this year. I have been bidding on the other site and with no luck but I have seen that maybe 1-8 cars are selling or hit the reserve. Thanks again and keep the leads coming.

I would sell one of my cars here in a second. It's free, no hassle and you get a high volume of people looking here all the time. A couple years ago, I had a '67 front clip for sale here and it sold in a week at my price. If I do decide later on to sell one or both of my cars, this would be the first place I would advertise them. My two cents. PT

Before you start looking there are a few things that we should know. Have you ever owned one of these types of cars before ? Typically, what some call a "midyear" Corvette will only have two seats, none of which are power seats and in your quest for a car and you come acroos a few that are powered by a 6.2L diesel engine yoiu should know that is most likely not the original engine but may have been a dealer installed plant. You can decipher the options and history of the car with a Marti report or hire the foremost Corvette expert out there, Galen Govier. I've been doing this for a long time, you should take everything that I say as fact.

Thanks Ray, I will ask you as many questions as possible. I have my eye on a couple and when my avatar changes you will know I have one. I have had alot of coupe offers but only a couple of verts. I was hoping for power seats and leopard skin interior but no luck on that so far.

Frode, you have to post pics of the 66 with no snow and the sun out, with the new tires on. That car sounds alot better than the 65.

BTG, what's the story with the new avatar ? It actually looks like an old Corvette.

Its a Nassau Blue 65 300 horse , blue inside, frame off 4 speed. It runs really good, I just need better pics. It has both tops with a white convert.
