(Updates thanks to a forum member who came to check the car out)
1967 Corvette C2 Coupe, 350ci V8 350hp engine (off a '69 vette) car has 67,xxx miles. Automatic transmission (three speed with overdrive or four speed), black interior in good condition, side exhaust, AC. Bird cage appears to be in good condition with some surface rust but little rot. Car was originally Goodwood Green and has been repainted Tuxedo Black. Car has been garage kept. Body is in excellent condition and everything works as it should with the exception of the clock and the reverse lights. Serious inquires only. Email or pm for specific pics or questions or to set up viewing. Price $35,000 obo.
I would say in this economy, with the wrong color, the automatic switch, and the modifications done to it, you are priced at least 10k high at this point. Automatics are harder to sell than sticks, the engine from pics needs redressing, maybe back to the original rallys or caps. I am by no means knocking your car, and hope that this is what you were looking for, for some advice. Just my opinion. Good luck with the sale
Not really much you can change back that will make it worth more money that won't cost you as much or more to change it.
Things that might make it easier to sell that won't break the bank:
The right Valve Covers, a more correct looking alternator, rubber hoses instead of the steel braided, correct transmission fill tube.
Correct looking steering wheel, and like Bowtyeguy mentioned the wheels.
Won't say any of this would make it worth more but easier (in my opinion) to sell.
Very similar California car on that popular auction site right now with a buy-it-now of $36k which dropped from $39k last week when there were no taker.
Estimate your car is worth $33k-$35k depending on what a birdcage and frame inspection finds. Any problems in those areas and could be significantly less.
Of course, there is always the chance someone sees it and falls in love. Shine it up and put it on the corner for few weeks.
Adjust your price and let the new owner decide what he wants to do with it. I think you could be 15k too high on the price. It also depends on how fast you want to sell it. If it's a good car and priced right, it will sell. The auto trans. is the biggest drawback for the car. You could change it out. But you might not recover the cost...unless you can do it yourself.
Like others have said get the under the hood really cleaned up. and correct hose,s back on it. under the car looks good from what I can see from your pic,s. Drop the price 10,k and then go from that.

100%... if he would adjust his price by $15k this car wouldn't last to long.

The car looks very nice and certainly was a great original color and with AC! If the original 4 speed and associated parts came with the car, that would be a big plus. I agree with the other post in regards to put original parts back on to aid in the sale. however if they are not available the price needs to be reduced 10 - 15K. Have you considered the car for yourself to keep in the family??
Best of luck
Unless you have the old parts laying around the garage its not worth the money to go out and buy the correct stuff and replace. The black looks great but is still the wrong color. Let the next owner do what he wants. You can go to different sights and check prices, I have found that on the BAY maybe maybe 1-8 cars hit the reserve and they are listed for along time. The NADA book makes everyones car 10-20% more than real life. I think if you read everyones post you should be able to reprice the car and have serious buyers call instead of jackalopes. Good luck
Thanks for all of the advice guys. The price will be discussed with my grandmother and offers are being taken at this point. I would prefer not to use an auction site.
The car was purchased in the condition that it is in now, so unfortunately I don't have the original parts. The paint color obviously will not be changed, but minor worthwhile changes will be considered.
My uncle had many old cars and as much as I would love to keep this car for myself the '69 chevelle SS has more sentimental value as I worked on it with him when he was restoring it.
Why is everyone beating him up because it is a powerglide? I realize it didn't come that way from the factory but that's how it is today! Not everyone wants to row thru the gears all the time, I get enough of that with my other two 6-speed cars. Sometimes it's nice just to have a CRUSIER!

I dont think they are beating him up about it being a powerglide. The fact is its not the orriginal trans or color and a/c did not come with car and the asking price is of a car this is correct. The others feel that the price should be adjusted for current market conditions.
Back to the top, with new info from people that have come to look at it. This car is a driver, not a collector as many of you have i'm sure already assessed.
For those that have never had an opportunity to own a Vette, this seems like a nice 'entry level' Vette. At my age, the crappy traffic lights all around where I live and the hot humid Ga heat, I dig the automatic AND the a/c.
Now, if I could just sell my 70 340 Cuda convert we might do somthin'
