Default 1964 Coupe 300hp, 5speed, bushings shocks and more

SOLD and on its way to its new home in Canada.. Good Luck Howy

I bought this 64 Coupe over 12 years ago and I never thought I would sell it, but now with 2 little girls and other hobbies that require a truck, I never find the time to drive it and enjoy it as much as I would like. I have tried to make a nice “Driver”. I upgraded some safety and drive ability by installing a dual brake master cylinder, Camaro T-5 manual 5 speed with overdrive, and 94 corvette seats, and complete new urethane bushings and rubber body bushings. It will now cruise 65mph at 2300rpm. The bumpers are not as shinny as they could be and the headlights aren’t the fastest to rotate up, but you can hop in and drive. The temps will sit at 180 and not move and has strong oil pressure at idle which the picture below shows. I have many of the stock parts still around, although the original engine and tranny are long gone. Feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures. Asking $28,000 obo.

Engine;
1963 870 block 327 300hp, 461 double hump heads rebuilt 2000 miles ago
Barry Grant Speed Demon Carb
350hp aluminum valve covers and air cleaner
Rebuilt Power steering system 1000 miles ago
Optima Battery
Chambered exhaust

Transmission;
WC Camaro T-5 installed 1000 miles ago with new clutch and Hays billet flywheel
Modified original corvette shifter to keep shifter in stock location and from inside the car looks completely stock.

Rear Differential;
3.70 posi rebuilt with new bearing and seals a 1000 miles ago, (originally 3.36 gears)
VBP adjustable strut rods with poly bushings
Halfshafts have new u-joints
New trailing arm bushings
Front has VBP lowered front springs
15/16inch front sway bar

Frame;
Cleaned painted and rust free
Front suspension
New Urethane bushings and VBP front springs and 15/16inch sway bar
Rear Suspension
Muskegon 9 leaf spring shortened 1 inch with 10 inch bolts to lower the rear and accommodate larger tires if desired.
New Fuel lines
225/60 R 15 BFGoodrich front and rear
68 corvette 15x7 rims

Body;
Body straight with new White paint 2 years ago, (Original Ermine White with STD black interior)
Original Tinted windows
Original no radio option car, but does currently have a stock radio
Small block hood with (67 Stinger big block hood available painted to match

Interior;
94 Corvette seats or original seats available(need recovering)
Newer carpet
Dyna mat sound deadening and reflectix heat barrier
Over the winter I replaced the bearings in the steering column and new bushings in the pedal assembly

Parts available separately;
Front and Rear disc brake setup from spindles out and rear trailing arms from a 69
Non-power steering setup
Complete stock exhaust system
Stock seats
67 Big block stinger hood
Koni Adjustable shocks
Kick panel speakers

Hi Rick,
If you search for T5 swap in the C3 section you will find lots of info.. I know Bernie did the swap with lots of good info. and SilverSlashstreak did it to his 63 as well. just do a search and ask any specific questions you may have.

Bowtyeguy,
Thanks for the compliments. The car is a real pleasure to drive, and will be sorely missed when its gone.

The car is available again, I had been holding it for someone who really wanted but has now decided against it.

Thanks,
Don
