I am interested in hearing what you know about her, e.g., do the pictures raise any red flags? What would you say is an appropriate sale price from the looks of things? Would appreciate any help. Please PM me.
Sure looks nice. Not that I am even slightly an expert, but if you need for me to go in there to look at it let me know. I can take come other pictures and give you more info.
jkuzzy,
Being completely new to Corvettes, I really do not know, but I suspect this car is being offered 20-25% above the price that most people who know better would say was about right. I love the design of the C2 coupe, and I like the power options and color scheme on this particular vehicle. If she proved to be sound (no major work needed), and an "about right" price deal could be struck, I would be very happy with this one. If you were to drop by this dealer to check it out, I would definitely want to get your take on it. Thanks for the offer - very kind of you.

Something is up with this car... the way it is setting is just not right. The stance in the rear and also the front of the car is way to high. Something to look into before any purchase. JMHO
Wellllllll, I went to Corvettes of Dallas today with my camera and realized I was in the wrong place.
I will try to go to the correct place tomorrow.
If I am not mistaken Corvette World of Dallas is still owned by Terry Malone. He has two places that he operates from---Friendly Chevrolet he shares space and he also has a showroom in Southlake(?)Texas.
As a rule, I have never seen Terry attempt to sell a junk vehicle. All of the ones I have seen him with have all been primos, especially when he had his showroom on Northwest Hwy and Loop 12 in Dallas.
He had some beauties that were well documented.
This picture may not really do the car justice but before I give up, I would definitely have someone see it.
As I said before,I have never seen him attempt to sell a bad Corvette.
The car is gonna set a little high because it has a/c which takes a heavier spring....seat belts could be wrong on this car as late as it isbut i know for sure its missing the seatbelt clip on the console...I'm not sure of the change over period in 66 and other than someone taking a punch and beating the trans up and jacking the car up by the oil pan some tight wad rattle canned the brake booster. Its got a regular hose clamp on the hose from the heater core to the intake .There is not any shielding on the manifolds. If you notice the picture with the trim tag and serial number, they put the glove box support back on with bolts instead of phillips head screws. The inside of the doors are supposed to be painted the color of the interior at the top if I'm not mistaken. little things makes the cars bring the big money which in the case this car has some short cuts taken that you can see so imagine what you cant see!! But that's just my opinion!!
I figured right that some eagle-eyed members would spot a few things. Being on the market for over a year pretty much says it all, yet I don't begrudge anyone who wants to get their price. I thought the oil pan looked dinged. I wouldn't have caught much else from pictures though. Lots for me to learn as I have just begun looking for a coupe to buys that is in truly good condition. Thanks everyone for the messages.
