Selling my 1963 corvette convertible. I bought this car in 2006. It is an excellent running car, with lots of money spent on it. non numbers matching 327/250 power glide, originally it was daytona blue with blue interior, interior is now black and in nice condition. The body is nice, and very clean with good paint. one top only. The frame is very clean. The car originally came from Kansas. 54k miles on the car. The engine is a 64 (non corvette) 327, the engine compartment looks correct for a 63.
New battery, alternator, tires, new taillights, brakes. This is a nice driver quality car, drive anywhere. It has factory style original side pipes, and mild flared rear quarters. I put on the 2" original sidepipes two years ago. It was professionally done, and I had the original tail panel filled in correctly. The original "fiberglass nubs" on the lower part of the front fenders, and lower front quarters go with the car just in case the next owner wants to put the pipes correctly out the back. It sounds really healthy! It has the correct tire tub, and spare, AM radio (out of car), lights work but one works slow.
I didn't plan on listing it tonight, and I will have more pictures tomorrow. Please ask any questions, I probably missed a few things on the car. Joe 630-975-9595 Naperville il, 1/2 hour west of Chicago.
$36,000 or reasonable offer. Clear title.
Wow... the yellow adds a nice touch to your '63 convertible.
Very nice looking... good luck with the sale.
Thanks for all the replys!! I would really like to keep the vette, but I don't have much time to drive it since I bought my red 66. I was giving this yellow 63 car to my girlfriend (now ex). /yeah, crazy... I do have a 4 speed m20, with all the parts to make it a 4 speed car. I can make a deal to the person that buys the car (sorry won't sell the trans and parts seperate). Thanks for looking, I promise more pictures by the weekend!! Joe
