Default no bites on a trade...lets try this???

lets just start with...for some reason I cannot post pics. If there is any interest maybe I could email pics to one of you gents and you can post for me on the thread. Here goes...I have a 66 and 04 that I would like to sell as a package at what I think is a reasonable price...the reason I want to do this is convienience & tax purposes. If something works out fine if not thats fine too as I love both these cars just looking to do the BB thing with a p/g.

I am an auto damage appraiser by trade so I will verbally represent these two cars to the best of my ability...no b.s. cuz I deal with people all day who tell me their cars are mint...well you know the story yadda yadda

I have owned the 66 since Nov 1987. At this time I worked in a body shop. I completed a body on restoration of this vehicle being a Cali car the under carriage is clean and I didn't want to transform her into a trailor queen as I wanted to drive and enjoy this car otherwise I would purchased a poster...much cheaper. Well just to give you an idea in 21 years I think I got caught in the rain 5 times.

When I painted the car My wife wanted a white car so happy wife happy life...car is an original Nassau blue car but still has the bright blue interior.
Paint is anywhere between a 5 and 10 footer depending on how good your eyesight is.
The body is so straight it doesn't look like fiberglass anymore. The gaps are all even throughout the car. Definentally over restored...I like to think of it as "blueprinted" but to each her own as this was obviously the Doctor's wife car. just. Just to provide some insight...how many mid years do you have to kick the doors shut...guaranteed you close the doors on this car with ONE finger.

Exterior bright work is all very good with some minor fading on the edges of the rear bumpers...not readily visible.

Glass is good. Weatherstriping is good no issues.

Interior is all good...trim code calls for vinyl but is upgraded to leather. Carpet is new.

Engine bay is clean and correct. The block is the correct casting# with Jan 66 code. Vehicle is a March 66 production. I also have the corrrect dated heads but are not currently installed on the vehicle. Cast intake is correct and dated. The exhaust manifolds on A.I.R. which leads me to believe its an original Calif car along with the condition of the frame and birdcage. carb and alt no #s

OPTIONS
327 300 HP, power glide,a/c, ps, pb, pw, ht, tinted glass, a/m K.O.s,leather,day/night mirror, stainless steel underbody exhaust.

Minor issues...odometer quit last year, speedo a little erratic have a new cable. Heat/cool control cable arm needs a minor fix.

Anyway in my opinion this is a solid #2 CAR

My 2004 triple black convertible 6m has 13,000 miles on it and is basically pert'near out of the box.

I want to finish this before the wife gets home.

I need both cars to go at the same time for $80K USD or Trade for a 66 vert bb automatic.

thanks for reading
Nic

Default White convertible

Really like C2 white convertibles. What heads are on your engine and why are the heads you mentioned not being used?
Does the A/C work, and if it does, do you have R12 or 134 in the system?

Correct casting# heads are on the car now they just are not correctly dated. I have the correct dated heads they are sitting at my buddy's machine shop. To the best of my knowledge the a/c works. I have to re-attatch the arm on the heater box which is connected to the temp cable...controls the door and the switch for the heater core..no big deal. Anyway car still has r12.

First off, to get the bucks, you have to get the interest. And pictures get the interest.

So go to http://tinypic.com/ to upload your pictures.

Now use some sense, you need pictures that are around 100 kb to 300 kb in size. Raw pictures from the camera at 2 Mb won't cut it.

Then copy the [img] link and paste it here.

Second, listing them separately is the best bet.

Good luck.
