I have a 427/390 roadster that I have had since 1986. Car had Texas clay caked in the frame so I started cleaning it and first thing I know, I am down to a bare frame. I ended up doing a full frame off, sent major mechanicals off for remanufacturing/blueprinting to great detail. Did I mention I might be a bit anal in this respect? I sent the chrome to Lemon Grove, back before they were forced out by the EPA, and all the stainless to one of my buddies' resto shops. I had an NCRS judge help with the work and we finished a couple of months ago. I have pictures of different stages over the years. Car is white with blue & white interior, both tops, (Al Knoch did the new ragtop with tag and interior), factory A/C. AM/FM, PS, gel Vintage battery, etc. We still need to add freon to finish the car. I have stock wheels, hubcaps and vintage gold lines with the car but I am running radial gold lines and chrome bolt-on knock-offs. Engine was professionally restored with slightly more lift and duration than stock cam setup. Carb, intake, transmission, heads, block, etc. all matching numbers. email me for pics at
