1962 Restomod
Hello Corvette Forum,
Its finally time, I have been threatening to do this for a while now. So here it is. I will be posting photos of underneath the car when the weather is good enough to. It is amazing the amount of pictures I took during construction but not once the car is done!
The car is for sale on several sites so you may see it elsewhere as well. I believe the car is priced very fairly due to current economy and as has been discussed here many of times, you could not build this car for this price. No where close! I am fortunate enough to be able to do 99% of my own work and will still be taking a hit.
For sale is 4 ½ years of my hard work! I have spent countless hours building this car to create a car that is beautiful, a blast to drive and roadworthy for you make a cross country road trip. Every pc of this car has been gone through. It has been completely modernized to drive like a new corvette. Although it is an ORIGINAL corvette body, frame etc, (not like the kits) it has updated Engine, trans, suspension, AC, Stereo, etc.
1962 Corvette
Original Body
Original Frame
New/Crate LS6
Magnuson Supercharger
Intercooled
T56 6 speed Transmission
C4 z51 suspension
Baer Rotors
C5 front calipers
2005 GTO full power seats
Dakota Digital Gauges
Complete Alpine Stereo
Touch screen DVD/GPS
Vintage AIR AC/Heat
ZO6 wheels
Custom fiberglass
Hood
Trunk
Wide body rear
Smoothed firewall
Factory Hard top only car
I had intended to button up a few last details and sell this car this summer, however I have a unique opportunity and would like to sell the car now. This leaves a few VERY minor details to be completed, such as purchase a grill, and some missing stainless for the hardtop. This car is essentially done and the few things left can be done by anyone with a garage in very short time.
Price = $115,000
No Trades, Serious buyers only please.

I am more than happy to talk for great lengths about this car since I
am very proud of it, but please do not call unless you are a serious buyer.
still needs a grill, I was going to make something custom but just ran out of time. Stock will pop right in

Seats are from a 2005 GTO full power that I shortened to fit under decklid
I made this hood by combining my original plus a 67 aftermarket So the blower would fit under
I shaved all emblems including trunk (which I always thought was too big)
Dakota Digital Gauges These will actually give you 0-60 times, 1/4 mile et and mph you can also set a service reminder
Smooth firewall = no windshield wiper motor don't drive in the rain!

I don't see how your post moves the sale of this beautiful car forward per forum rules
Besides, drive this baby past a crowd one direction and a new ZR1 the other direction and see which car draws the most attention

What a BS comment. It is a great looking car by the way! Good luck on the sale.

I love the restorods/mods cars. Have a classic car with everything modern. Beutiful car, if I had the money I'd jump on it.
