Whats Going on ???? I was looking on E-bay this morning and notice MECUM has a bunch of 67's" listed. I counted roughly 60 (in total) 1967 cars alone......... not counting 63-66's. The prices are ultra high, but why would they even bother in this economy? Are the retailers trying new marketing tricks to move their stagnant inventory ? Or is this something else? Bank lean's , gotta pay bill's, Lost your lease type of deal? .................................... Maybe its another bubble about to burst !!
Why are there so many more 67 big block convertibles on Ebay than 67 big block coupes?Production numbers were about the same. And why are there more big block mid years for sale than small blocks when small block production far exceeded big block production?Alan.

On your first question, convertibles were more popular than coupes, so the statistics lean in favor of convertibles. (the coupes vs. verts were even in 63, verts pulled a little ahead in 64, and for 65, 66 and 67, verts sold ALMOST 2 x 1 over coupes)
On the second question, there are a LOT of fake big blocks out there....lots of made up cars (sadly).
Yeah, I know....hard to believe.....and MY car is an ultra-rare Big Block Delete car.
