I have my 65 up for sale, its a GREAT driver, not numbers matching, the FRAME is VERY VERY nice. It needs small odds and end to make it right. The horn, oil gauge, clock. It has headers on it that go into exhaust all the way out back. Its really to quiet for me. No powers and the radio sucks. This is a car you can get in and just go for under 40k. I bought a new toy and something has to move. Thanks

SOLD

FWIW- Last week-I also had a driver(65 vert) I put up for sale and priced right under $40k. I sold it in a day and ½. I listed the ad Sunday night- had two offers Monday (both wanting to buy it for less) and by Monday afternoon had a gentleman driving over 350 miles to P/U Tuesday morning- If it was everything I said it was-and pay FULL asking price.

With the cash in my hand and watching the car being trailered away- I went to cancel the auction and SOMEBODY else had clicked "Buy it Now!!!" TWO buyers for the same driver car w/ a 20 year old paint on it for $40K. So ,there are a lot of Buyers out there-with cash in hand-and you don't need to drop your price a penny!!!

Pricing fair is the key. There are cash buyers that still want these cars at a fair price. So many of these cars are for sale at unrealistic prices just hoping to catch an impulsive sucker.

Paul,

I think you might be making a mistake taking less then $40k...these cars are becoming more difficult to find in the condition you described.

Good luck with the sale...

I try and price it fair so both sides can be happy and less games played. I have 2 guys that will buy the car, I am waiting on the final YES word and it will be sold. I am going to hold off on anymore offers until after Monday. Thanks
