One of my sisters lost her husband to lung cancer at 48.

His vet:

69 coupe 350/350 4 spd, white/black - ps/pb/vinyl

I would categorize this car as a barn find - has been in gararge for 15 years, not run, and will need a complete restoration - and I mean almost everything.

All original
Frame good
No hit body
Tank sticker

It seems that these cars go for $30K in prisitine condition.

Any ideas on what to ask?

With such limited info I would say $9k max. I would just ebay it with a token reserve if it must be sold. If he had children it might be better off just to keep it for maybe one of them in the future. Probably more sentimental value than monetary.

Hazarding a guess from info provided I will be a little more generous than silver 67, but not much more generous. Maybe $10,500 but that is if EVERYTHING is there as you have described.

That may be a good ask, but I suspect the sale will be closer to $7.5K.

I REALLY lucked out and bought one like that a few years ago for $3500.00 from the original owner. It sat in a garage for 13 years. It didn't need a restore. Just a good good cleaning . Rebuilt the carb, tune up and fresh gas. Walla, a driver.
I would say around $10,000 would be a good price.

I would say 8 to 10,000. Local dealer friend of mine sold a similar case with engine that needed rebuilt on Ebay for I think 8 or 9.
