Please let me know what you see on this car that I may be missing. Appears that the master cylinder is from a '64. Also it has a vintage air system. Is this the orientation for the typical system installation. The compressor is on the drivers side. Any other parts look to be correct / incorrect?

Nice looking 65 Coupe. The master cylinder is a replacement that I believe fit 63 to early 65. Usually the compressor is on the passenger side, but it is aftermarket system, so it appears it can work on either side. Chrome alternator is not original.

The things that are missing are shots of the frame, VIN and Data tags. A shot of the serial number on the engine pad would be good. The birdcage is tough to get pics of. If you are really serious I would suggest to get a qualified expert or NCRS guy in the area to look at the car... Good Luck...

Nice looking car. I also agree that you should ask for more pics, if satisfied with them get an NCRS guy to go look at it for you. If you pay him a few bucks it is worth the price. That way you will know what you are getting.Good luck!

Not in all the pictures though. It's got a SB hood in first pics and then changes to a BB hood in the head on front shot Maybe has 2 hoods, maybe is 2 different cars pieced together in pictures to look like one ???

Also looks like an aftermarket brake boost kit used to replace original.

Putting the A/C compressor on the left side saves a lot of work and a few dollars. To locate the compressor on the right side the alternator must be moved to the left side along with the horn relay and associated wiring. Probably necessitating the purchase and installation of a 66 underhood wiring harness.

At least the installer ran the lines from the compressor around the front of the engine compartment instead of across the rear of the engine.

Top radiator hose is a generic flex type and awkwardly oriented to avoid contact with the compressor belt.

new heavy duty auxiliary fan, new 160 degree high performance thermostat, could mean there is an overheating problem with the added load of the A/C.

Car looks good from the limited photos provided, however, like achampman stated, "If you are really serious I would suggest to get a qualified expert or NCRS guy in the area to look at the car..."

This car most likely had the power booster added after the fact. 65's PB systems use a dual circuit master cylinder which is unique to the 65 and 66 model years.

Or, you could read the ad...

"Along with the car comes the original small block hood in a box in excellent condition, the car currently has the big block hood seen in the pictures"
