Default 67 Coupe Project F/S

I have a 1967 Goodwood green, black interior, Corvette Coupe, 327/300, 4spd, sidepipe, numbers matching, body-off frame project that needs to be completed. So...be advised, there is still work needed to finish project and thus "some assembly required". Over 8 years and $50K has been invested in project...damn thing is still not finished.

I want to drive this summer so I'm offering the car for $35K. Car is located in Uxbridge, MA. If you are close and interested, ping me via email bmw_bill@hotmail.com or call my cell (number below) to coordinate an inspection.

Car is believed to be sub 100K mile….odometer and title all show consistent mileage. I have Massachusetts title to car. Car is not drivable. Status is "under restoration". I will try and explain in detail the exact condition of the car along with what I have currently in terms of new and original parts along with what I think the project needs to be finished.

Numbers - (note: if you identify any errors or have questions let me know…I'm writing this up from notes…and I will go and verify with pics if needed)

VIN 194775115290

Options:
AM-FM Radio
Side pipes

Trim tag information:

H31 Body build date 3/31/67
67-437 Coupe
S4704 Saint Louis #4,704
ID 194377S115290

Engine:
Casting date 3/10/1967

V0322HE Flint Eng Plan, 300HP

Assembly date 3/22/1967

Transmission:
M-20 4spd

Exterior Color -
983 AA Goodwood Green Metallic

Interior Color -
Black Vinyl

Body - Currently painted body is mounted on fully restored Chassis (see details under "Chassis"). Interior is not in car (see "Interior" for interior details). Body was removed from frame and stripped. Car body appeared to have had original paint (see photos) besides where some repairs were made. Doors were removed, jammed and rehung. While I have all the correct glass for the car, it is not currently installed. New paint has issues. Heater box is stripped and in good condition. I have new and complete tail lights. I think I have new front marker light assemblies. Headlight door motors were rebuilt and I believe I have all new hardware. I also believe I have new wiring for the entire car….front, interior and back. Bumpers are original and need to be re-chromed to be perfect. Note, they are not dented and do not have rust issues. I have all the correct hardware to mount them. I also have new emblems for the car to include new antenna.

Interior - Seats have been restored and covered with a factory pattern, black leather…I know, they are supposed to be vinyl but the previous owner was going to keep it. You need to see them because they are most excellent. I have the original door panels that include a complete and in good condition set of bright-work. Console is junk but I'll include it with the car. I have all the knobs and switches along with original and correct radio…(was told it worked before it was removed). Clock was restored and has never been installed/used. Glove box door is good to go as is the gauge cluster/guages. Steering column is good to go but the original steering wheel has blemishes. While I have the plastic surrounds for the interior I do not have a headliner. Car needs complete carpet set. I also have visors in that are in good condition.

Chassis - chassis was disassembled, stripped and painted. Frame is MINT…NO ISSUES! New parts were used in reassembly….bushings and joints. Front and rear springs were also replaced. Shocks are new as is brake system. All hard lines are stainless and were bent to factory specs. Gas tank is new as is hardware. Wheels are correct DC code wheels (including spare) and have new radials (not including spare…older bias ply with white wall). Center caps are correct and original as are beauty rings. Spare tire tub and cover are in good condition as is hardware. Side pipes are new OEM GM units. Covers are original and have "patina" however they are complete with insulators. Radiator is correct and is serviceable. Battery box is new along with hardware. Half shaves have new U-joints and all bearings are new.

Drive Train - Engine, transmission and differential are correct for the car…numbers matching. Engine has been rebuilt, flywheel is resurfaced, and the clutch group is new. Transmission was inspected but not rebuilt. Holley Carburetor is correct as is intake and distributor. I cannot find the original shifter but it has a Hurst unit attached at the present time. Starter is new but I think the original alternator (correct unit) needs to be rebuilt. Original exhaust manifolds have been media blasted and look great. All new heat shields are still in boxes…to include ignition shields. I have the original air cleaner assembly but the chrome is not the best.

I guess that's enough for now. If you have any other questions….LET ME KNOW! I want to be as thorough as possible. Also, my cell is 774-290-1377 if you need to call me directly.
