Went to look at this 66 today. Item # 230223490146 Not an original side pipe car,original engine not the trans though. Had a new front surround put on. Real nice paint,frame and bird cage. Has owned it for 8 years never titled it,still has the Fl. Title.Looks like it's been pieced together over the years.Wants 37,500.00, I figure probally around another 10,000.00 to get it correct. What do you guys think????????????

The car looks terrific for a driver at that price. Call your local P.D. and check the VIN . Before buying the vehicle take him to DMV and clear all the leins ( if any ) and make sure that New York State will title it .
That car for that price is a nice find for someone , if you want a correct car for show judging , move on , but expect to pay more than $ 10,000 ( $ 47,000 ) for show correctness . If you feel good about it go for it !
