F/S 1966 , Convertable both tops 427, 4 speed Driver , correct color black on black the long & short selling my 66 my wife died of cancer & have totally lost interest only driven 100 miles last 3 years ................owned for approx 15 years.
Have done as winter projects just ablout evething , new heater box, Leather int Carpet , sound deadning .......rear bumpers rechromed & perfect , new door panels ..new glov compartment & door , Inst & totally restored evething works ...rebuilt vent window regulaters, optima battery
bolt on knock off wheels ..a new set of BF Goodrich G Sport tires...............1967 dual chamber master cylinder
This is a C2 Corvette to own & drive , & not be afraid of getting it dusty , powerful & dependable , modifications made were for driveability & depenability , have the correct parts thsat were replaced on a shelf >> just my 2 cents ..Have owned & enjoyed my 66 , for approx 15 years .. used to drive her now she just sits in garage, always registered & has Massachusetts inspection sticker ...... my opinon very nice........ Both tops , P/S ,P/B , factory side ex , 4 speed, original radio , 3.70 posi, have a seperate complete 3.08 posi pumpkin .
Rare Tripple Black , Correct color codes << built Dec 2, 1965..was originally L-36 ..previous owner installed & rebuilt ( have reciepts) a correct 1966 L72 engine , cast Feb 66..my 66 was built dec 1965, totally rebuilt Vintage 4 blt main L72 , cast Feb 66. restamped by previous owner.
mild Comp Cam xtreme energy cam ( 5,700 redline ) endlebrock Alum oval port heads , CNC ported , MSD ignition & pro billet dist, roller tipped rocker arms , TRW 2300 F pistons , chevy alum dual plane intake ( same as on 502/502 ) have 780, 750 & 750 double pumper.......
P/S, P/B , Both tops , Allen side ex, have original factory side ex , 4 speed , new conv top , new leather int , carpet , weatherstrip , everthing mechanically has been redone over the last 15 years........all u joints , rear half shafts ,SS brakes , springs , suspension , posi , new gas tank, have reciepts for everthing .....all instraments have been re done & function , no hedders stock factory side ex >>.the chroame is nice & shinny black paint .runs & drives great engine has 9.6 compression ratio ... oldies day 3 years ago at NE dragway 13.26 @ 105 MPH...........
Here are the Non NCRS items >> Composite rear spring , Vette brakes strut rods , brakes converted to 1967 dual master cylinder , B/F Goodrich G sport radial tires . Alum stewart water pump , mini high tourque starter << have all removed parts on shelf & work..in sumary all suspension new rides nice .
have most correct parts in my basement that were replaced, as noted above & all including cast iron L36 heads, starter , intake , wheels, hubcaps , quite a collection of c2 parts acumulated over 15 years ,& steel wheels all of which go with Corvette.
the only non function items are the emergency brakes & elect antenna shaft ( broke putting on car cover) hardtop has no headliner (hardtop other wise in great cond w/ new weatherstrip & clear rear window)...electric ant motor works .

We've chatted about your car a year or two ago when you were toying with the idea of selling. I'd still be interested, but again it depends on price. Let me know once you have an idea of what you need to have for it. I've been focused on 67's for the most part lately, but would definitely be interested in your car...

I was thinking of parting with my 66 , ( winter depression) not that I need the money but have only room for 2 corvettes ( have a 2007 ), last spring had a chance to get a very nice 56 ....... no place to put it ... regarding price based upon my purchase price + 14 K & resonable aprecation 60 K as is ...........

Kenba whe are about same age ....... so maybe you can understand my philosopy "Drive um dont waxum" been into muscle cars since 1994 ..anyways a few days after my initial post on sellin discoverd heater leaked & runing rug ............have heater out & doing rugs figued why not do entire interior ..so in approx 3 weeks she will have a new black leather seats & interer & heater............. ( i work slow ) cold in my garage .......... anyways send me your conventional email address will send photos ..probably will take off market till fall .have sent photos to many who requested if i did not please eamil me & i will do photos ... or just enail & tell me i forgot .........the Dogs getting old

Update..a few days after I put up my initial for sale post , went to my garage to vacume interiour & discovered heater box was leaking into front rug, ordered heater box & rug set....... The first year/season put over 1,800.,then less & less the last two years maybe 400 miles , have been driving my C6 convertable more ......... so still at a cross road , I am not being a jerk.... its a tough decison & a final decision when I do part with my 66 , she will be gone ............she will be driveable in a couple of weeks need to go through the gears & make up my mind ...........The Dog
