I can be reached at (760) 805-8038. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County San Diego. This a great driving 1961 Chevrolet Corvette convertible with a factory hardtop and factory convertible soft top. California blue plate car. It is ready to jump in and enjoy today. It has a 283 c.i. small block Chevy that runs very well. It is not the original block, but I do have another bare block that came with the car that I believe is the right date code for the car. It has been decked so there are no numbers on the pad. The previous owner thought it might be the original one to the car, but I am not sure. Four speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly. It starts right up, settles into a nice smooth idle, and sounds like a Corvette should. It has a brand new stainless exhaust system. The brakes have been recently re-done. Wide White Wall tires that are only about a year old and have good tread. Factory Corvette hubcaps. The body is in good condition. The paint is old and should be re-done if you want a show car, but I actually like it better this way because you can drive it and have fun everyday without worrying about it every second. It has chips and scratches in the paint. The frame is excellent. It has not been undercoated and is extremely solid. The chrome shines okay, but has some scratches. The interior is very nice. The seats are excellent. The carpet is good and is black, but I also have a brand new still in the box red Auto Custom Carpet kit. Original shifter, steering wheel, and Wonderbar radio. The windshield wipers work fine. The tach does not work. All the lights and signals work well. The door panels have been re-done incorrectly. The dashpad is decent. It is not cracked, but is a little dry. All in all, this is a great driving solid axle Corvette that will make a great car for someone. I have a bunch of pictures that I can e-mail to serious buyers. Thanks!

Reason: PRICE REDUCED
I don't have any way to delete it or I would. The guy was just trying to help me out after all and I appreciate it. Feel free to take the Ebay link out if possible. I will be happy to e-mail the pictures to serious buyers. Thanks!
So how are you supposed to show people what your car looks like? If I want to read an ad and not see pic's I'll pick up a Hemmings. I thought this was 2008, feels like I am going backwards...... pretty soon I will be able to buy a new 62!
Location: Park City to SoCal - according to the map it's all down hill. No bad days in Indian Wells, California

Consider $1K plus my 64 Roadster? I'll do delivery both ways.
I have lowered the price on the car to $34,900. I have been flooded with calls and, to be perfectly honest, I don't have a lot of extra time to deal with it. I am leaving to go to Northern California later in the week and just want to sell it and be done. It is a great car for the money, but everyone seems to wants a done car for this much. Please, serious buyers only. One guy even called to tell me how he could have purchased a done, completely restored 1961 Corvette with beautiful paint for $35,000 AT THIS YEAR'S BARRETT-JACKSON!! These type of people will give you an idea of why I'm tired of it. Thanks!
I can't post pictures here. If you e-mail me, I will be happy to e-mail you a bunch of pictures. I also just took the hardtop off and got some pictures of the soft top, which is in good shape. I also took some with the top down which is when the car certainly looks the best! Thanks!
