I have met the owner and gone to his shop. I was actually there a month or so ago looking at his inventory.
I happened to look at a 66 that has since sold. He has a good reputation from what I hear. After meeting and speaking with him, my take is that he is an honest man very knowledgable in Corvettes. I think his prices are decent for a dealer.
Just bought a 66 Coupe from him. The car was as described. I went to his shop to check it out and leared alot...he was very helpful in showing me what I should look for to prove the car was solid. Also met him at NCRS Nationals this year where he was judging. I WOULD BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM HIM. Dan
John is very well respected in Southern California and the country as a very good, honest Corvette dealer. You will see him at major events like Bloomington and Carlisle, so he has his ear on the "railroad track" and understands the Corvette market well.
He has excellent contacts in his homeland of Australia and also with oveseas shipping if one has needs to import or export.
Bret, how is the silver 65 coupe performing ? Are you looking for an additional car ?

I bought a '71 from a dealer i Denmark who specializes in importing american cars. I later found out (from looking at the pictures of my car in GM Downunders parking lot and comparing to other add's and Google Earth that he bought the car from GM downunder
The car was as promissed, I didn't find any unpleasant surprises when i restored it.
